Of course when we were kids his talents drove me crazy. Most of it was jealously, of course. I remember very clearly when I was in 3rd grade and struggling to learn the multiplication tables, while he, in kindergarten, had memorized them backwards and forwards.
I'm really proud of him, and impressed that he could take something so esoteric as an obsession in transit scheduling and make a career out of it.
What an interesting article and how amazing to know what he wanted to do (and be so good at it) from such a young age. Amazing.
